So, for all you single malt fans out there...
Deep Six, along with an assortment of other Redbays will be making
the annual assult on Ardbeg for .... refreshments ?
However, 'tis an open invite to ALL rib owners
Plan as it stands... Saturday 18th May
Departing Redbay 10:30
Leaving Islay 15:30
Leave Rathlin 18:30
Followed up with a hearty BBQ in the Boat Club back at base that evening.
Usual Book / Register Online with the guys in Redbay,
I plan to take Deep Six this year, so first time "I" get to register my boat !
Hope to see a couple of the wingmen for some

Bloody hell that was quick out of the blocks - 1st willk and now you - I count myself lucky if Tom takes my call - never mind having him on speed dial
Great news - specially as it is now an "open" gig - we'll be there - I assume the Glens will be thawed out by then

What's this? Have you been PHONING Tom? When you're not actually ADRIFT at sea? I didn't realise that that was an option. I must try it sometime...
Here, this Ardbeg in Summer sounds like a plan. I shall hook up my free Stormforce 6.1 (which will be all washed and gassed up for me as usual) and tow her over to Cushendall for that gig. I may even bring my personal Skipper so I can have a few wee drachms and not have to worry about Rathlin pullin' any fast ones on me on the way home.
I'll tell yiz lads, I have it handy

It does. I've just spotted the Easter Newsletter - it seems that donegaldan was careful to omit the bit about the Whisky prize for the Photo Treasure Hunt. Tch! That was the BEST bit

Generally a fair amount of it alright.
Always a good excuse to meet with the people we might bump into out there.
Lota friendly faces, and the BBQ is never bad !
I may have failed to mention the bottle of Whiskey, but I've got a good wingman, and figure its in the bag
That is, unless our scottish neighbours sneak in there first, eh Jambo ?

Salt water fix already starting to wain
So... Now that Easdale has been ticked off the todo list...
Next is the Ardbeg 18th May.
And seeing as Deep Six is still full of gas and ready for some salt water action, the plan is hopefully to hit Ardbeg, Rathlin and a BBQ too.
Possibly some of boats who did not make it to Easdale due to poor WX might want to have a look at this as a nice one day cruise ?
Be cracking to get a nice fleet of boats over to Islay and back - before the ethanol based island products lay waste to the boat owners :-)
That and I need methadone from Easdale,
Already missing the North Channel !
So.... whos game ?
P.S. open to all, but you need to let the lads Redbay know in advance...

Hows about we try not to hit Rathlin too hard?
I'll be on Nav by that late stage of the day - I'll set me alarm clock for a mile off the cliffs...

Sorry Dan, would love to come over but unfortunately working. Curious on your search for Methadone. In my experience you would have a better chance of procuring some in the east end of Glasgow as opposed to a sleepy island. You are aware it's purchase is highly illegal and governed by the Misuse of Drugs Act? Was its use the reason for some unreasonable behaviour at the weekend by the inhabitants of no34. Those middle age women leading you all astray?
