Bank Holiday Monday - 6th May

It's too early for a pasty, we get them here - http://www.rib.net/forum/f18/7th-ann...run-80799.html

But a couple of us are planning a run out from Plymouth bank holiday Monday. Looking like tea an' cakes in Salcombe will be the order of the day - a round trip of about 38 nm.

Looking to leave Breakwater Fort around 11/11.30 with plenty of sea room if you fancy it.

Would love to tag along with this if that's ok. Will be my first run out from Quay Haven since I moved down here and following people who know the area will take some of the worry out of the trip. Just need to check everything still works ok in the morning as it's been a couple of months since I last used the boat.

Pete.

Please do - you're looking for a grey 5.5 call sign Nutkin Too and a yellow 5.85 ribcraft, call sign Sparksy.

The grey one will be launching at Saltash, the yellow one at Mountbatton. See you at the fort. I'll pm you a mobile that will be in us eon the day in case C16 is busy.

54 miles, 36 litres fuel used, no dolphins but a flat sea and great views on passage from Plymouth to Salcombe.

Didn't have a pasty (that's later in the month) but found a shop selling dirty chips - and very nice they were too.

Cup of tea went down well, as did the ice cream - especially as it was local - to here, good old Farmer Tom!!

A cracking day in great company on our flotilla of four.

Definitely a cracking day. South Devon coast in the sun is pretty special. I'm looking forward to seeing the Cornish side now.

Cheers for the guided tour Andy.

Was a great day, hopefully a little bit more of a swell for the pasty run. Not had the prop out the water yet[emoji12]
