Update here

http://www.boatmadforum.co.uk/showth...=5175#post5175

(don't read back...usual BM nonsense )

Anyone else suddenly at a loose end?

Ye'll only be sitting at home eating loads & watching the telly so dig the boat out & away we go...
If you haven't got a boat at the moment post or pm anyways cos there's plenty room on this little spin...

Where? Oh.

Lumpyish...Cowes for a bite then on to Pompey /Port Solent to trample
Matt's boat ... grub at one of the caffs/restaurants.....

Millpondish...Yarmouth and then the rest...

Out & About

All,

It Looks like Myself & Froglover Will be out to play on Sunday minus the Tadpoles ; only joking FL.

Where & when are people meeting up?

I will talk to PHYC in Port Solent and see if I can get us discount on Food & Drinks, as a Rag & Stick employee I deffinately can. The food is very good, reasonably priced and will suit everyones taste; the view over Port Solent is not bad either..

See you all Sunday

Ello Ello Ello.
Damn. Since there's quite a few coming along, and it's a BH weekend, we've already booked Cafe Uno cos everywhere is booking up pretty quick.

Johnny Fuller wants a 'watersports' partner too by the looks of it. He must be missing Tony more than he lets on.

I think we'd be the ones trying to catch up you!!

'Fraid we can't make this one, although it's shaping up to be an excellent cruise and good to see 'hard' and 'soft' boats getting together.

Will you be around for RIBex, Matt?

I dunno, I bet 200hp pushes blue ice at a good pace.
It does look like it should be good, the Jackeens really are stars.

Haven't really paid any attention to Ribex, what is it?

Hi Pete,
I'd be up for that if only the galley was big enough, quite enjoy the odd bit of cooking. Check the thread on boatmad, that should answer most of your questions, but in a nutshell, drinks & nibbles on Distant Rumble from 6:30, table at Cafe Uno is booked for 8pm.
Cheers
Matt

We need to do a final tally up of the numbers for the day (so we don't lose anyone) and the evening so I can adjust numbers to book as needed.
What do you fancy for the day, I'd be OK with similar plan to last time? (ie 11@osbourne bay muster). Maybe even a bit later so I can have a lie in.
Three cheers for the Jackeens!!!

Nope not yet - three more next week, finishing just in time for RIBEX.

I did go out for a few hours this evening, quick trip down to the Needles and back . There was a nice selection of RIBs at Cowes at ~8pm - anybody’s on here?

Enjoy the long weekend..

All over soon Daniel. Good luck.

We'd be up for 11.00 at Osborne Matt. Sounds good

Could spin to Yarmouth then & back to Pompey afternoonish?

People could deposit boats at preferred location then drive round to Port Solent...(Antoinette& Martin will take theirs back to So'ton for example)

We'll take Zeb (and VIP CREW) up to the Sunsail pontoon & play it by ear (usual jackeen strategy )
