Sorry about that folks. It seems a bit unaccommodating to demand a nonreturnable deposit. I actually was in the place on Tuesday evening last. The food was absolutely great. The place was packed. I turned up on spec and only just got a table for myself and two colleagues. It is upstairs and down below is a great pub! But no good to us if they want that nonreturnable deposit.

Look at some of the other places I mentioned.

I can see their point, taking a booking for 20+ would take a fair chunk of their capacity, especially for a Saturday night. I don't mind risking 10 euros a head, I've spent worse. Look at it this way, if we don't go, we'll save a feckin lot more than 10yoyos per person.

Plus, I like the look of that menu

I'm ok with it but what I don't understand is why the set menu is a good deal? The a la carte menu would be a struggle to get past 30. Or does this include nan, sweets etc, what you've posted looks just like starters and mains

Okay after emails and phone calls i have been unable to agree a treaty with the native Indians they insist on the deposit being paid by Wednesday this week and need to know the exact number of people who will be dining even thats to much for the BS powers to forecast

So plan b as been launched i have been able to book a table for us at the purtykitchen looks like they have a fantastic choice of plus the menu looks good

I need to let them know roughly how many so have told them around 30

dining at 7.30
