You missed a great weekend HP, we would not of gone if we thought it would of been too risky, but looking at the weather forecast and talking to Holyhead and Dublin coastguards before we left it turned out to be a good call. The worst we could expect was a force 4/5 which would turn in to a gentle breeze the closer we got to Dublin. The Sunday weather turned out better then we expected even though it was cloudy and wet. After all this is why we have Ribs

I still have 60 euros left to spend next year

full credit to you all. I was just sat at home at the farm and had been through an awful day weather wise. Looking at the system in the UK on the comp it just felt wrong. I missed what looked like a great trip and obviously well organised. Will have to find some balls and tag along on the next one.

There is a flip side however, and that is that ribbing is supposed to be fun. If you have spent the previous 24 hours bailing out your property and watching the doom and gloom on the TV, then launching into the unknown while waving goodbye to your wains might not seem like the best idea, and certainly no fun.

If you guys report on the quality (but not the price) of the Guinness, I'm sure we will see HP this side of the pond in due course...
