Cherbourg

Has anybody had experience of Cherbourg as a cross channel destination?

We are planning a trip and it would be good if anybody can share some advice on the best places to moor/eat/fuel up?

Thank in advance

Chris

Yep. Paul and some assorted hoboes did a boys' trip recently. http://www.rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11399

Moored : dead easy near H'master's gaf : 'capitainerie'

Fuel near capitainerie

Grub : excellent yottie club and assorted caffs

Note : english lingo abounds in Yacht Club.

done it lots of times and has usually been quite calm, never done it when quite rough, we normally leave it to the crew to sort out mooring up.
