Hi Mrs J
Will wait to hear if you are both around on Sunday?
Reckon me and my significant other can launch around Midday.
Even if you can't make it am interested to know who or what "Clan Timboli" is?
regards

Noddy, Scurvey & meself are off to Weymouth on Satuday but will be coming back to Langstone Sunday pm. If you've got VHF we'll give you a call on Ch77 as we pass Pompey.

We are on a campsite at Cobnor (between Chichester Harbour and Hayling Island).
How about an Rv at Chi harbour entrance and then a trip up stream to Dell Quay - there is a pub there but for the life of me I cant remember what it is?
Reckon I should be able to keep up in a 10 knot limit?
Take it you will not be worried about tides launching at Pompey so no hurry to get back?
I will pm my mobile number - got a radio but havent done the course?
Martyn(Ribald will listen out for you on 77 but wont be able to reply- well maybe in morse code!!)

Martyn, you must be thinking of The Crown & Anchor at Dell Quay.

Did think about it but it depends on what time we get back from Weymouth and also HW Portsmouth is 1415ish so may not get up there and back without losing the water - Dell Quay dries as I remember.

We'll see as if the weather's good may stop off at Studland Bay for an ice cream.

Chichester Sunday

Well you will be very welcome Ribald- Not sure about Dell Quay being dry at low tide - when we parked there it was at the end of a pier and no-one seemed to have any problem with us tying up there? It was a very popular pub though.

Missus, is that 1200ish or 1400ish Zebedee time

Rather than risk Chi entrance you could pop up through Langstone, under Hayling Bridge and meet at Northney. We may be back from Weymouth in time to escort you if 1400ish providing the A-frame doesn't fall off - will check bolt tomorrow

Pity JK hasn't got the green smile with the reciprocating hand like what they have on The Dark Side - just for Richard's benefit you understand
