We're safely back to Poole (with the last of the light) and now showered and fed but Biffer, that's an awful photo and the post isn't much better! Good to see you again

At least you took one though (I left my camera on the boat). It was a good turn out and am only sorry that the length of the return journey meant an early departure for Maximus, Mrs A and me. As usual good to see the usual faces and to meet some new ones. Thanks again to Mark for organising it.

I think that other than us Burtox was the only one rounding Hurst to get back. Big waves or big waves!

Glad you got back OK. Sounds like Hurst was interesting! Hope to make it the whole way next time.

Another great day out. Huge thanks to Mark for organising and Ian M for the ride and letting me helm (and only getting him a little wet on the ride up the Solent). Once the tide had turned the run back to Lymington was easy and flat which really was not what was expected. I could see some 'bigger' waves at Hurst so did feel for Avocet and Burtox heading out that way.

We got back just a few light drops of rain fell so we even timed that well !

Good to see familiar faces and a good turnout despite the past 7 days weather forecast !

I did feel feel the Folly may have reduced thier portion size though (?) and it was the usual feeling of being stung by the Folly pontoon for £6 a boat even thought here were 9or 10 of us, but to be fair and as Biff said they are a seperate set up to the pub so cant hold it against the pub.

Nice bit of video and editing would have been even better if it was longer

Yeah, I agree. I've got loads of footage here so I'll stitch some more together without so much merriment

We were fine that was a really weird one I opened the Egg Whisk throttle, got it on the plane then it gradually died on me.

I think that it may be the fact that I was lusting over the speed and noise coming out of the 90 Yam (Tornado) as it pulled away from us. (Jealous)

Well it started ok and then took us back to Christchurch without any more events. I think it is running too rich on tick over / low speed as the engine was covered in carbon when we got back.

Waves??? I didn't see any waves, that sounds like one of those fishing tales

Well it was a little bumpy to be fair

It was good to meet you all and look forward to the next trip.
