Just checked weather forecast for Friday, SW 4-5 with rain all day,I think we better touch base Thursday night to see who still fancies it.Won't be much fun taking pictures of planes when it's p-----g down with rain.

Agreed about the weather check on Thursday pm- on an optimistic note the BBC forecast has changed for Friday now showing sun but with a 15k westerly. However the metcheck forecast still seems to anticipate rain!!!!Stick to plan for Thursday check. Phil as my home p/c is temporarily off line do you still have my mobile/home number? If so could you perhaps give me ar ring to keep me up to date on Thursday.

If any of your convoy are going out from Levington Marina ( Suffolk Yacht Harbour ) make sure you have a 4x4 handy . I was there last week and the steel cable arrangement at the slip looked in very poor condition.

It ended up snapping with a boat on the end of it.I saw it happen I had just got mine out of the water.I ended up getting the guys boat out for him.He was very lucky that it was high tide,it would have recked his boat if the water was low.I felt sorry for his other half who was in the boat when the cable snapped.I;ve been down there today it's still broken.

Clacton Air Show Cruise Cancelled But Trip Saturday Is On

Air Show cruise has been cancelled due to forecast of strong winds and rain.Phil Davies and I have decided on a cruise Saturday from Levington down to Woodbridge for morning Tea.The forecast is good for the week-end so it should be a good trip.If anybody else fancies coming feel free to join us.I will put departure time on thread Friday evening.High tide is 11.03HRS so I would think a meet at around 9.30-10.00HRS would be a rough guide.

Keith

I'll ring you tomorrow evening after I've confirmed timings with Wayne. Daniel TD5 will also be interrupting his holiday to join us, but then he's easily wooed by the lure of a cream tea

We'll get you in the water Keith no problem.Been down there again today cable still not repaired. That should keep the sailing oyks out of our way for a change.I could stay there and charge £10.00 per dip and £15.00 to get them back out again.
