Clacton Sea Front Airshow

Plenty of notice for this one, August 26th/27th is the Clacton Seafront Air Show, it's a Thursday and Friday event but would be great to do the Friday as the following Monday is a Bank Holiday. High tides at Levington are 09.45hrs and 22.33hrs.So come on all you merry ribbers lets get it sorted so that we can go in some serious numbers for this one.Had a run down there yesterday from Levington it's just under twenty miles took twenty seven minutes.Hope a few of you can make it, they have great FISH AND CHIPS down there DAN.

Regards
Wayne (CAP LOCKS)

I'll tentatively put my name down for this one, although it's a bit early to know whether I'll be travelling/in office yet. I would launch from Bradwell on the Blackwater, it's a relatively short hop over to Clacton from there.

Had road accident last year, police car rear ended me in St Albans. My back has suffered ever since, even more after being out on the Rib. So I have bought myself a 2001 Chaparral 18.5 ft 3ltr 135hp sportsboat.six seater 45-50 mph in mint condition. It's a lot better on the back as I don't get airborne so much with it.I'll be sorry to see the Rib go as she is a great boat.Could be yours Phil.

Sorry to hear that, but great news that you're able to stay on the water. Will you still be willing to be seen out with rubber boats? Agree your Valiant's a fine RIB, but having been to Ribex the next one's going to have an extremely large Evinrude Ficht on it

Thanks Dan,the Rib is a bit hard on my lower back after the accident,I hoped it would improve,it happened last August and it never has got any better.
My new Chaparral is a lovely boat, the smoothest none Rib I've ever been in.
I hope we will still go for the fish and chips at Clacton in August. If the Rib isn't sold by then I better give her a clear out.
