Clyde Cruise - Wed 30 Dec

Is anyone interested in joining us on Wed 30th December?

We are planning on leaving Rosneath (From Silvers) around 10am, there is a good slipway to launch from, with a floating pontoon.

It is likely that we'll head to Holy Loch Marina, then down river to Cumbrae or the Kyles of Bute, returning late afternoon

Hello there, im going to say a tentative yes to the cruise.

Our boat has been getting revamped over the last 6 - 8 months. Our exhaust is away being refabricated but I'm heading down to Meercat to pick up our old one and get it back on the boat tomorrow. We also need to find some sort of cushon for the drivers seat as all the seats are away being re-upholstered so if all goes well Andy and I should be there to join you on Wednesday.

Contact details for the run

Hi all,

Would you PM me with your e-mail address and mobile number unless I already have it???

We were out on the river later this afternoon for a while, it was absolutely fantastic!

Although we plan to depart at 10am (ish) on Wednesday, you can launch earlier and tie alongside the pontoon.

Mark

Well things didnt go quite to plan today,
headder tank was frozen, even though it had a decent dose of anti-freeze (obviously not enough), got that thawed out and tried to fire her up to no avail, the pre heater does not seem to be working and flattened the batteries trying to get her going (not been fired up for about 6 months)
A few other bits and bobs are still needing doing before we can head out on the water but my brother and i are going to have a right good bash at trying to get her wet for a new years jaunt

so were a bit peed off but never mind
Look forward to seeing the photos

Graeme

Have a good time - we may see you as we cross from Gourock to Dunoon tomorrow (or the big red ferry!) - we are off to Tighnabruich for a few days but without the boat mainly as I can't be bothered digging it out.
