We were otherwise engaged up north (pic of Papa Holm during the week below) but would have come if we were home. Millport illuminations are on our calendar as long as wind and weather cooperate.
Video and more pics to follow of our trip, any more pics of saturday from yours?

looked good! both in the Clyde and Orkney -
we - me and moonraker - can vouch for the good weather on Saturday out in loch craignish/ dorus mor, but a bit more dubious about the weather today, sunday - but it did leave big smiles on my face with the run back from croabh to ardfern sunday afternoon, - dorus mor looked fairly exited as well!!

Yeah! Conditions certainly focussed the mind and I'd have felt very lonely had I not been in company with Chris. Our boats are so similar it was good to watch a PBI handle the conditions. By the time we got back I was a much better helmsman. Like Chris said - big grins.
Yes, the race went ahead, wind reached F7 at times (measured by several yachts). No dinghies. 13 Flying Fifteens. Several filled but kept going, one capsized and I had to tow him in. A great day.
Tony.
PS Apologies for 'borrowing' this thread for a while.
