i have thot about the old "get somebody to drive the land rover trick" but i think its a bit crap. we will prob take about 3 tents and have the boat just in case of any hurricanes that come thru.

once you get a drink in you wont be able to hear the snoring!!!

Phew! Someone else in a 'reasonably sized RIB'. :-) I was beginning to think there'd just be a bunch of Redbay's thundering over the horizon.

>Will watch the skies for more concrete info (?)

I'll be doin' that. Fair weather seafarer these days. I've ordered sunshine and high pressure. Hopefully we'll get to know more about what's happening later.

>Dunno bout the camping tho - Craob Haven sounds more like it.

If you're stuck for space there, try Ardfern - self catering, a couple of B&B's and the hotel (Galley of Lorne) has just been taken over by a young couple and is much, much improved. Just about three miles further to the Corry than from Craobh.

Firm dates

Hi guys

The website recommends April 15 to 20.

That period runs from Sunday to Saturday. Go Sunday April 15 or Sat April 21?

Go Sat 14 and stay for Sunday 15?

Pls indicate preferences??

If your heading down that way I would really reccomend going East of Seil Island, if the tide will allow and go under the bridge to the Atlantic, it is a fantastic thing to do but tide must be fairly high.

Weekend April 14/ 15

At this stage I should say that I am going on a trip to the general area of the Corryvreckan on weekend April 14/15 and if any one else wishes to follow along they are most welcome. I am not organising a trip and take no responsibility for any who wish to join in.

Do you have room for an ancient mariner in an 11m Redbay?

Hi Mike,

If you give me a call nearer the time I can advise on slips...bit presumptious there, you are towing it up? or by sea now that would be impressive!

How ancient, white beards and stuff?

Ancient Mariner

Mike

I suspect there will be plenty of room on the ocean for a Redbay 11m any day.
