Hi Fi.

Enjoyed our chat today and hope you're all better soon. xxx

Meeting at the Redjet tomoro to get Slimtim on board.

Tim & Graeme we'll be there (with Kevin(Aging Youth), Kathryn and Scurvy Mike on Pendragon) for 9.30.

Then we'll watch the start from the Gurnell side and decide whether to toddle on down to Yarmouth or Cowes to meet Brian Whiteshoes and gang.

Chatting to a very popular race team today...they're well hyped up!!!

Martin & Anto...see you on board Sun and we'll head the Needles way to meet Brambles and Co., Brian and hopefully Graham F and Steve S. Carly, Matt and team (i.e. any pit babes they've met ) want to go for a spin. Scary Des might be out! Might see Madmat also. (Or at least hear The Rumble)

Gordon Bennett you know a lot of Ribbers! Sounds good. Are you planning on watching the start and finish? only an hour - 1.5hours apart i guess.

I went to the marina today and managed to hook up with Cookee who is a great chap. He showed me around all the boats and told me about hull designs and engines etc. He thought a good place to take photos would be east a bit as all the boats come from gurnard way and turn 180deg off east cowes (prince consort?) and then head off to the needles.

Chocolate cake is all made and is very nice indeed

Also saw team explosion today but didn't realise it was them until they had all buggered off.

I'm still on for 9:30 on the red funnel pontoon.

Cheers

Tim

You're a gas man altogether.

They estimate about an hour to go round. Yep Team Explosion know only one speed Cookee is a gent indeed & Kitten.

There are some brill peeps around alright and you'll get to know them round the Solent eventually so then you won't have to rely on us oldies

Looking forward to the choccy cake!!!!

You talkin' to me?

Had a week off visitin' me Dad. Just back. Seats and storage boxes should be in tomorow. With a bit of luck, the diesel heater too.

How's Iceland? It'll be getting dark there soon, I bet.

It was a great day...mind you the Solent was the usual mess of every kind of craft sloshing about ... the racing teams must have amazing reaction speeds...

Met Mike (Scurvy C.), Kev (Aging Youth), Kathryn and Danielle in Pompey and went across to meet RIBnet's latest photographer Slimtim. Brief pause for refreshers in Cowes where we met Team Explosion and Kitten and Sophie...as well as Mike (Cookee's snapper).

Then out to a vantage point where the two photographers on board could get the best possible photos We spotted Graham F and Steve S.... also Brambles and Tim Griffin; and Brian Whiteshoes arrived with the healthiest looking gang you ever saw.

We hung around at the finish which was exciting Them Batboats don't do slow for no-one Then we went into Cowes and met Mark Halliday, Vivienne & Natasha and our neighbour Stuart (Intrepid Capn of Ocean Spear ) & gang... Little refresher in Beer Tent and down to Yarmouth to the King's Head for group lunch. Ran into Dave Robson (Aquapower)as well.

Back to Cowes and a cup of tea in the Fountain 'Otel.
And there we had a jar with Cookee and Kitten who told us all about their last fillum. They are racing again tomorrow so GOOD LUCK !!!

The chocolate brownies were brill...thanks Tim

And we're looking forward to tomoro

Us (Now Bogib...if I remember any more I'll tell you in a minit )

If they're there now, they've likely been around most of the summer but they've been lyin' low.
