Well so much for Cowes!
Was enjoying it so much just went straight past and kept going, right past the Needles to play in some livelier waters
Headed back to port when our stomach's told us it was lunch time, so headed to Yarmouth for a bite in the Kings head. On route we paid a visit to Alum Bay and nearly fell fowl to a floating lobster pot rope, but a quick flick into nuetral and trim up saved the day. In Yarmouth you can see we were the only boat at Town Quay which surprised me somewhat.
After our refueling stop, headed North then East along the coast though to Calshot a quick turn North again had me racing the Red Jet and a couple of Gin Palaces up Southampton water, needless to say I had to slow so they could keep up
A quick photo stop off of Queen Victoria Park and it was off again, hugging the coast to Portmouth where to Wind against tide was making the usuall confused seas off of Gilkicker point. This is where I hurt myself! I got thrown forward onto the steering wheel which had it been 2" lower would have removed the wedding tackel
It hurt and still hurts none the less.
On return to Haslar we found the tide a little low for recovery, so tied alongside a pontoon and whilst waiting walked to the end. Who should I see comming around the corner but Jimbo and Co. After a few mins of chat Pete 7 came ambling down the pontoon clutching a cupper (he's a one that Pete). So a bit of a RIBnet meet at the end of the day
