Hi, I would be interested in crossing the channel art some point this summer, have done this before but in larger boats, RIb would be more of an adventure...when would you the thinking? We have a Cobra 7.55 so similar size vessel to yours....

Hi Mark,
If you are coming then please stop in at Alderney, it is a sensible first landfall and well worth a visit. We would be happy to help with any arrangements!

Channel Island cruise
Mark
I see you are from Andover, I'm from Salisbury, perhaps a beer or two mid way for a chat to discuss
I have made/planned a few trips to the Channel Islands over the last few years and being BIBOAs Cruise Coordinator this year would be more than happy to give you some tips and details of our planned cruises this year.
Email me on: j.adlard@btinternet.com when your free
Cheers
Jon

I wouldn't mind coming along on this if that's okay with everyone?
And Luke, I'm sure you'd be very welcome to join our boat if you'd like and the timing is right.
Take it easy,
Ian

Depending on timing, we may be interested. Saturday out, B&B, nice pub supper and Sunday back would suit us.
We would only go if conditions were absolutely suitable.

If you end up as far as Jersey I'd be happy to meet up and help out with local pilotage, fuel (currently 55ppl), accommodation etc

We did an Alderney cruise the weekend after Cowes Week ended two years ago with a couple of Ribeyes and a Shakespeare and we did Alderney in a day, nice long pub lunch over there and back, round the island on the way back, does mean a 9.30 meet outside Lymington, but it was flat seas and blue skies...
Would love to go further to maybe Jersey...
We were in 6.5 metres and it was really good fun, 34 knots cruising or so, good fun...
Given good weather its great, wouldnt be so good in chop...
Luke as ever you are welcome in Farfetched...

I've been to Alderney a handful of times and i love the place.
I havent done much RIB cruising in the last few years but it would be good to do this one again, so i'm interested too. I've done this several times in various boats, but always 6m + and would not reccomend anything less than 5.5 or 6m unless ideal conditions.
