Cruises in Clyde area 26 April 3 May

We have organised a series of relaxing informal daily cruises leaving from Portavadie marina on the clyde every morning 26th April till 3rd May event totally weather driven Skippers decision to go or not. Numbers limited cruising speed 20 25kn contact me if you can join us for a day or more. Portavadie has petrol/diesel We do a couple of long trips (Ireland Gigha) the rest is around the clyde and up to glasgow etc. Portavadie has cottages to rent please contact myself if you wish to take one so far we have 4 of them. there are Hotels & B&B in tignnabruich 3 miles away

*Subject to rebuilding the engine & getting it run in by then! (Pistons were mid atlantic last time I checked.....)

very much weather driven decided at skippers briefing held every morning 1000hr we will try for ballycasle sanda gigha on the longer runs and shorter trips to inverrary and a trip to glasgow we stop frequently to regroup have coffee take photos etc we hope portavadie will be good in the evening as every one is staying on site or very close this is the first time we have cruised from portavadie but have done many from tarbert. alternatively you could contact us and then rv with us later on

Just joined Ribnet and based on Loch Long. Very interested in coming along on one of your cruises. Are they still going ahead?

Cruising is still on .....( least I hope it is as we are towing up from the big smoke ! ) . PM DougCrock for any specific info or get back to me for Doug's phone no. if required . I'm sure that each trip will be arranged on a daily basis according to weather conditions prevailing .

we are starting cruises from Portavadie on Mon 26 and will be coming north up clyde on Wed 28 to RV with some ribs in Cumbrae area and poss Loch Goil for lunch Everything weather driven See previous post and or send private message (PM)

cruise was good only 2 days weather shortened planned route. Portavadie marina base worked well and petrol was £1.20 on pontoon we had 12 ribs over the week the swiss rib Highlander based at holy loch until 5 may covered over 1000 Nm Arriba did 520nm

hi yes it was coold but dry for most of the time went to inverrarry otter ferry round arran carradale cambeltown ailsa sanda and all over clyde and up to glasgow
