Dartmouth 20/3/05 Lunch!
Weather permitting we are meeting for lunch in Dartmouth this Sunday - there will be Kitten and I in the BananaShark (leisure version) Rob Mcarthy in the mystery RIB and another 6m RIB, all coming from Salcombe, and at least 2 boats coming from Teignmouth. Anyone wanting to join us for lunch is welcome, and we might book a table somewhere as there will be more coming by road as well!
If you fancy coming either reply here or call me on 07836 268747 - Going to try and rope the Exmouth lot in as well - more RIBS and hard boats from there I hope!

Should be able to make that, not sure yet if it's one or two of us though.
No boat yet have to come by road and risk the ferry

Ok - Following Mr Tilleys suggestion the George and Dragon it is - I will book a table on Friday afternoon for those that are coming so I'll need the numbers by then - 12.30 at the main ferry pontoon in Dartmouth, and I'll book the table for 1.00 unless someone has a better idea?
TQ - well at least you'll be using a sort of boat to get there - I think they've sorted that little cable/chain problem out now! Let me know nearer the time how many!

I'm guessing since I can't see the houses over the road for fog here that this is a bit of a non starter.
Or is anyone going by car?

A bit foggy!
In Dartmouth and Torbay, so we decided to forget about it, then Rob Mcarthy suggested Plymouth wasn't so bad so we trecked over there, just 3 boats in the end (one only lasted 10 minutes before being put back on the trailer though!)
It was blowing the forecast force 5, which made the trip round to the Yealm a bit windy! We got up to Noss Mayo past Newton Ferrers and met up with some of the better halfs and Tony Hamilton, who was down in the West Country for the weekend (he's allegedly racing in P1 this year).
The wind had increased to a good strong 6 for the return journey, and despite that Mike, our resident photographer took some photos of the new BananaShark and Rob Mcarthy's mystery RIB .............. photos to follow soon! Everyone got back a little damp but in fine spirits, just have to sort out the hole in the block of that 200 now!

To save publishing the photos twice, I'm just putting the link to the photos which are on the "Leisure BananaShark on the water" thread: http://www.rib.net/forum/showthread....8569#post88569
