As you can see a great day out. No pics of the salty stuff - too busy holding on! The race at Rathin was in full flight and boy was that a confused piece of sea! The rest ranged from lumpy to slightly less lumpy
but none of it was boring and all was enjoyable.
The day was finished off with a bit of excitement when we got back into HQ and the shout came in that one of the boats had engine trouble. Corryvecken was quickly launched again- so fast it was nearly unbelievable - and Tom, Conor, Willk and myself set off towards Cushendun.
The casualty was soon found and we got the Sligo crew under tow and flew back to Cushendall. The boys on the casualty (which had a slight fuel problem) were really jealous when Tom handed up Willk and I a steaming cup of coffee as we stood on the aft deck watching the tow.
All in all a really great days boating.
Many many thanks to everyone who was there - you all made it great.
