I think it has to be a personal decision - I think that attendance will be severely reduced which is completely understandable.

I suppose it was inevitable after the last few days. Sorry to announce the formal cancellation of 2020's Easdale RIB Rendezvous. However, we accept that we can't tell people not to travel and if friends and acquaintances bumped into each other that weekend whilst in the area and said something along the lines of ... "hey, weather's looking good tomorrow, I've got my RIB, fancy heading out for a jaunt ?" then there's no stopping that..... Sorry for the disappointment - what's the betting the weather will be stunning as well ?

Hi Carolyn,
Many thanks for the update, unfortunately Berthon Power & Gemini UK will be unable to attend this years RIB Rendezvous.
Thank you for all of the effort that has gone into the planning.

As soon as the current situation is back to normal we will plan a trip up to Easdale to demonstrate the Gemini RIBs and Cox Powertrain 300hp diesel outboard.

Until then keep safe & well.
Regards
Simon

It is with great sadness but we must announce the temporary closure of Seafari Adventures (Oban). COVID-19 and the government’s recent advice and restrictions on travel and social contact made the decision inevitable. We have a responsibility and duty of care to you our customers, our friends and people who work with us and the close community in which we all live.
We are determined to re-open as soon as possible and we will review weekly. All our boats are ready for the season and our ticket office has been readied for opening. Our full time team Steve, Carolyn, Brett, Roy, Catherine and Voirrey worked extremely hard to reach this point. Jess and I are committed to support them as best possible through this forthcoming period.
To our customers old and potential, please keep safe and we hope to see you at Easdale in the not too distant future.
We will be contacting all our customers who have bookings with us explaining refund or re-scheduling options.
As far as the RIB Rendezvous is concerned, the government has stated no non-essential travel, the Scottish government has stated al accommodation providers should close and all ferries (including Easdale Island) are residents only. It's a definite and official cancellation.

Tony & Jess
