For the 2020 ERR, I am hoping to attend this year for the first time, wondering where do most people stay, and launch from?

Great, I’ve managed to book a cottage on Easedale Island itself from Thursday pm to Sunday morning. Will be travelling up Thursday, and back Sunday giving me 2 clear days to ‘play’.

Hoping to leave the car / trailer in the harbour car park across the water, have emailed to book a mooring on Easedale for the 3 nights.

Looking forward to it, seen some of the old videos on YouTube and it looks fantastic.

EASDALE RIB RENDEZVOUS - 1st, 2nd 3rd May 2020

Rather than keep adding to the 2019 thread, I thought it would be easier for people to find if we start a new one for the 2020 cruise.

(Admin, are you able to move the posts in the 2019 cruise after 8th June to the start of this for continuity?)

Anyway, this is a link to the Rendezvous Facebook page and the Rendezvous website registration page.

We're intending to take Baby Blue this year so will probably be back to being the group tender when required!

Hmmm ..Wouldn't argue with that one
Should make it more convenient for anyone who wants to hop over by Sea too.
Have a great ERR everyone (it's well worth the trip if you're considering it) and a wonderful and peaceful 2020!

Hi Roflhat - there is no camping or motorhome provision at the old Highland Arts site - there is provision down near Cuan slip which is just a 20 minute drive away.

Press release from Berthon Power :

A Powerful Offering from Berthon Power & Gemini RIBs

Berthon Power, the sole UK & Eire distributors of both the Cox Powertrain 300hp diesel outboard & Gemini RIBs, are pleased to announce they will be attending the Easdale RIB Rendezvous in May 2020.

They will be presenting the world’s first 300hp diesel outboard, installed on board a commercial quality Gemini Waverider 780 RIB and fitted with Shock Mitigation Seating from SHOX. This combination showcases the very latest in outboard engine technology, on board the Gemini RIB, providing a versatile vessel ideal for a range of users.

Simon Barnett of Berthon Power explains:

“Easdale RIB Rendezvous provides us with the perfect opportunity to introduce both the CXO300 Diesel outboard engine and Gemini RIBs to the adventure leisure and commercial sectors in Scotland.

We expect the combination of a hard wearing British-built RIB - paired with a sophisticated diesel outboard engine - to be an appealing combination in an area where rough sea conditions and guaranteed access to petrol can be challenging.

The RIB and Engine we will showcase are exceptionally strong, and have an unparalleled range when compared to petrol alternatives.

We are therefore pleased to offer sea trials of our Gemini WR780 & Cox combination to as many interested people as possible throughout the weekend, whilst exploring the beautiful coast of Scotland.”

The Waverider & Cox combination is available to all for sea trials at the Easdale rendezvous. Trials can be customised to witness the RIB in action through various conditions, and we look forward to demonstrating its remarkable capabilities. Give us a call to book via the contact details below.

Simon is the UK & Ireland Sales Manager for Berthon Power and is available at Simon.barnett@berthon.co.uk or by calling 01590 647 448. Andy Andrews is the Sales Manager for Gemini RIBs and can be reached at Andy.andrews@berthon.co.uk or by calling 01590 647 404.

All queries and questions are welcomed.

We look forward to seeing you at the rendezvous!
