Easter Bank Holiday

With 4 Days off for Easter coming up - does anybody fancy a meet up and doing a run somewhere on or around the Island (IOW) depending on tide and weather ?

They play a version of that in Derry.

Unlike yours, it's quite straightforward. Basically it's empty all the bottles in the pubs (into themselves) and then throw 'em at the coppers and then bate seven shades of sh1te out of each other. Quality

... and it's more of a weekly event - so they're always in trim

I would love a wizz out.

Whilst I'd otherwise be very pleased to join you in the sun/rain/snow, I am looking forward to being on the snow on the Swiss/French border with some furniture tied to my feet and sliding down some snow-covered mountains.

We'll be back on 10 April and hope to be out and about on the Sunday.

Happy Easter to you all.

David

Hope I will be around, all pending when coming back from Bretagne and how soon I can get rid of my partner (to Gatwick airport)

Going out tomorrow (Sunday) for a quick play.

Leaving Poole (10.00) and then along the coast towards Lulworth if anyone facies tagging along?

A great day out on the water. Very few boats out considering how good the conditions were. Lots of dingies in the harbour, small fishing boats and a few ribs. The beaches were very busy.
Had a run along the coast, lunch of fish & chips in Swanage and then a slow trundle round the back of the harbour.
Roll on Summer ......

I went for a quick spin this moring , but missed your post Steve or I would have nipped over to Swanage.

I was held up towing the standard yacht of the same sand bank as a few weeks ago , then the Shetland with more water then petrol in the tank (plastic tank had been sat for 5 months 1/4 full outside........)back to the quay.

Then the kids got cold and wanted to sit in the cabin/go home - so that was that !

Always tomorrow afternoon !

Pete why dont you just paint your tubes and hull orange, put RNLI down the side and be done with getting out for your own pleasure! I think we ought to set up a fund raising venture for you, either that or you must be getting bought a lot of pints ......

May try to get out one evening, as the weather seems to improving later in week, with a Highpressure moving in for next weekend

Steve
