end of Season Weymouth Cruise
The annual end of season cruise to Weymouth is just having the finishing touches put to it. It now looks like it will be held on the 12th October. We need to start getting some idea of how many people are interested in coming to the event. Last year we had about 45 people and hope to have a few more this year. Can you let me know if you are interested. Call 01732 866553 so we can arrange accomodation for you. It is a great classic event for BIBOA.

Julian,
I'm definitely interested in this. I'm in the middle of a very hectic two weeks, so emails and RIB.net postings about events are a welcome tonic! Have you heard from Peter since Jersey? I'm sure that he'll be up for this as well. I'll be in touch soon.
Richard.

Weymouth Cruise
The cruise leaves from Yarmouth (IOW) on Saturday. We normally meet there at 10.00am for lunch and a few beers then leave for Weymouth at about 2pm. I do beleive Mr Priddy started this event about 10 years ago, maybe longer (Alan are you coming this year) . It is a good chance for every one to meet up before the end of season and have a good knees up.

Count me in
Does anybody know roughly how many nmi the cruise is. Just trying to work out how much fuel will be needed. I left all my charts on a friends boat and can't get them until next weekend

I make Yarmouth to Weymouth about 40nm. p'raps add a bit on to keep offshore from Lulworth (don't want to get shot at! ) and a bit more of you want to look at Old Harry Rocks closer!

Weymouth Cruise
I remember a few years ago it was really rough and only one boat made it to weymouth. That was Jim / Yvonne of course. It took them 5 hours. The rest of us put the boats back on the mooring and drove down by car. Much easier.

Weymouth 12 th October
For those who are interested the BIBOA annual weymouth cruise is only a few weeks away now. We are meeting in Yarmouth at 11.30 - .12.00 on Saturday 12th October for lunch. Leaving about 2.00 for the trip to weymouth.
If you would like to come the cost of the event is £60. This is for the hotel, evening meal at the yacht club and sunday lunch back in yarmouth. For those who are interested please call me on 01732 866553 or 07900883851. I need to get a form out to you to sign and must get a cheque for the event at least a week before we go.
Its a great event and only a short run.
Julian

Form
Hi Richard
Yep that form in Riblines is fine. If you can post that to us with the cheque that would be great. Did Peter get hold of you. He was wondering if you wanted a lift on his boat again to weymouth.
See you there.
Julian

Weymouth
Hi Charles
I understand. The main thing is that you and your crew are all safe. The boat can be repaired and of course there is allways next year.
