Having had my RIB for 2yrs and living on the Island for 15 months I got to thinking that I am not still not very confident in taking it out on a passage or cruise other than going to Southampton or Portsmouth. I know that there are lots of groups doing cruises every week but I didnt think that just being part of a group on a cruise would give me the confidence that I wanted. I have discussed this with other novices anf found that this was a common problem.
So I have taken the plunge and engaged two Power Boat Instructors to Escort me and some other RIBs on a trip round the Island next Saturday 15/7/06. The day will start with a briefing and some tuition passage planning,preparing the boat and crew etc
There are still some spaces left if anybody else wishes to join in. The cost per boat is £60 The cruise will meet at kevin Mole Outboards Pontoon 0n the River Medina at 0900 and will also end there as well with a chance for discussion and Q&A with the Instructors.
