Yes penmarlem is ok any tide . I meant Looe is no good for the 11th unless i get on the water before 7:am

The Eddystone is pretty much directly off Plymouth so you could have a good cruise up the coast past Looo and we could head down meeting you along the way . Just agree a rough time and keep in close and we will meet up .
Could then all head out to Light together after a natter ond coffee or something like that ,

sorry so late . Nos4 called me this eve . we intend leaving Fowey about 1030
tomorrow and heading up the coast towards Plymouth Somewhere along whitsand bay we will head out to the Eddystone for some fishing then back to whitsand bay for a BBQ in the afternoon.

We will probably BBQ on the west side of rame at the top end of the beach.
Its always very calm and sheltered there . lantic bay looks like it will too much swell hitting it for landing .

looks a good place to visit, did you get a good turn out from the rest of the cornwall crowd or was it tooo far east for them?

What ?? the eddystone is a long long way from the Caroot Roads

That osprey certainly does go well , and sounded nice as it disappeared into the distance at roughly twice the speed I was cruising at .

Yes the crew do shout a bit at times when its lumpy . makes it a bit hard to get the right speed for the waves at times cos you know a heavy landing won't go down too well .
I really dunno if the Valiant is good or bad , unless i could just jump on another rib in the same sea , not really tried much else tbo. I don't think its too bad for a small boat but I wouldn't like to cruise into a sea like that for too long with it , it gets pretty uncomfortable .
