Global Challenge - Solent - 3 Oct 04

An interesting day out, along with 10,000 other boats all trying to get to the front for a good view. Always a few collisions between the spectators.

From the website

On Sunday 3rd October 2004, 12 identical 72ft ocean racing yachts will sail from Portsmouth, ready not just to survive those conditions, but to race through them

Pete

Pete
I am out sailing on one, on the 25 August, so there may only be 11 starting.

Don't go giving me ideas.

Just a day out having a bit of Corporate Hostility. Not something I get much of at my end of the food chain. I guess I will be on one of the old fleet out of Ocean Village.
