Hi,
I live in Guernsey and will be up for a cruise or two during the coming year. Unfortunately I have a lot of commitments this year so won't be doing much that I can plan. But if I'm free, willing and able then I'd be up for a jaunt!

Where abouts are you thinking of going? Hopefully my new boat should be ready by the end of march, then I'll be up for going anywhere and everywhere!

Tom
Really up for ideas, but Jersey, Carteret, Dilette, Sark are the starting points. Or if earlier in the season and weather not so good, just a blast around Guernsey ending up for a pint in Herm.
mmmmm Prosport completing on time, have you seen other Forum comments re Pro Sport !. Really hope they keep to their delivery time for you suggest you keep the pressure on.
Will keep you advised if I try to arrange a trip. Stay in touch, interested to know how you get on.

Don't worry, I'll be down there everyweek anoying Jason until its done! They seem to have sorted it out down there, I think people being slow with payments is a big factor. Will keep in touch

I'm in for some weekend trips, family and work constraints allowing. Only got as far as Sark last year, want to make it to France in 2005.
Tom, look out for the yellow 7.5m, "Charger" in the Prosport "tent", that's my baby. Should be back in the water shortly.

Thanks for the responses.
At least now identified potentially 5 Ribs that are up for some trips.
As the weather gets better , I hope, will be in contact. Maybe we should arrange a date in Feb to meet and do some planning over a pint !!!

Squirrel, have seen your boat in there, in fact I've seen them working on it. Usually moored near the east arm isn't it?
I spoke to them today and my boat is due to start a week on monday, and the're ordering my engine this monday, so I'm being optemistic and hoping it will be ready by the end of March. I never managed to get too far in my previous prosport 6m, so I'm hoping for some good trips this coming season.

Go out this weekend ?
Almost flat water on Sunday, was great to get out. Saw a couple of other Ribs out , any of you ?
Went pretty close to Lihou, but seemed to be a lot of floating granite bits in the water so thought I better turn round.
Apart from a fuel gauge that seems no longer to want to work everything else, for once, functioning.
Soon be spring !!!

Hi Alan,
Glad you got out!!
I looked at it from my bedroom window.......thought it looked cold, grey and miserable and settled in front of the fire for the rest of the day getting back ache on the sofa and watching the footy! (C'mon the Bolton!!)
Gutted today though as it was as flat as pancake on the east coast......just what I needed on my way to work!!
Is this your first boat?? Just by the way you seemed a bit wary of the granite floaty bits neat Lihou!
If you like when I get back from skiing (did I mention I'm going on holiday in two days!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!!) I'll give you an orientation of what to look out for, what not to hit and how to get there........in roughly one piece!

Thanks.
No third boat, last one was a twin engined cruiser. previously stuck to the wider channels and never ventured round to the west coast. So the granite stuff gets more numerous.
Have a great holiday and when you get back would be great to explore more towards the west.
Naturally, followed by a pint!
