See you there....
Thanks for that conformation DM. I'll be there for 0900 ish provisions in hand. Look forward to seeing everyone there. Ian, if you want to drift past mine on the way - or get get me to pick you up leaving your car free for others, just advise. In case you're just going to meet us there, we'll be the chaps with the RIBS, you know the things, big and bouncy looking with engines on the back......just in case you've forgotten what a RIB looks like

Roll on March
Don't think I'll be there in time for this one. We dont leave until Saturday AM and as I HAVE NO RIB (bloody hell! no one has told me that, well not in the past two minutes anyway) I can't see the point in getting up at 0500 to rush down.

Holy s.h.i.t
What the hell do you mean, you don't think you'll make it ? Get a grip man.....I know it's been a month or so since you became ribless, but I didn't expect you to have turned into a nancy so quickly ? Oh well, I suppose if your too much of a "Southern Wooss" (well phrased D.M) we'll just have to make do with Deb's company as I'm bloody sure she wouldn't come online moaning and whining !!!. "See you there Deb's", Helen as well I would imagine..........you enjoy your lie-in mate....
P.S.
Phil you have a good 5 hour journey up, and you David, must take you a few hours as well. That's commitment for ya.....

Phil you have a good 5 hour journey up
Thanks for your good wishes, mate - actually it'll be nearer 7 hours if I come up Friday evening, though it took 9 hours last time! But, as of course you and I are aware, Graeme,it's all about the taking part. You know it would be so much easier to say bo****ks to it and stay in bed when one thinks how much easier the 350 mile journey would be without stopping constantly to walk the labrador and without the nagging worry of ratchet straps working loose or trailer tyres puncturing. Oh and let's not forget the inevitable traffic chaos on the M11 on a Friday afternoon one is forced to contend with, compounded by the congestion on the Leicester section of the M1 and, to crown it all, the misery of the M6 north of Stoke.
And then, of course, one has the expense of an evening meal at the Little Chef in Halkyn to factor in, not to mention the truly outrageous fuel consumption of one's Range Rover to finance. Such tribulations are but nothing, however, when weighed against the pleasure derived from spending quality time in the company of the North West Ribsters. Ribsters who will make the effort to get there because they know a Southerner has - Ribsters who appreciate the enormous efforts taken by others to be there. But we willingly put up with the hassle just to be able to say, 'I was there'.
I understand you won't be joining us, Ian?

weather forecast
The forecast for Saturday looks interesting, but it won't deter the Ribsters or even the Riblessters!

Force 8 from Morfa Nefyn
It started as a Force 8 but ended in a Force 10 day of fun with great company.
Many thanks DM for the inspiration to get out there and DO IT!
Wave Humper and Jackeens were brave enough to come the distance. MeMe boldy went where Med style RIBs have found the water too Sticky!
But unfortunately, Ian's Pugeot sank early on and left him still ....dare I say ....... RIBless.
(boy are we going to get some stick in March?)
I'll post some more pics on the Gallery if anyone is interested
John

Dr J.Firth, how true!
However you are not at the front of the queue, that is reserved for Phil (I'll drive 7 hours for anything) 'Diehard' Davies with MeMe second following the Peugeot sinking (now have a Volvo, purchased during the second day of the NWR November trip). MeMe is closely followed by DM. I bought a Volvo this time as I thought he may have better luck spelling this one instead of another Peugeot.
Yes John, your number 4!
Almost forgot, Phil (I'll drive 7 hours for anything) 'Diehard' Davies didn't make it did he. Bit of wind forecast and his girl working all weekend so couldn't be arsed. If she was working it would have given him two days ribbing. Oh well 'have rib wont travel'.

You are Number '3'
Yes and the pipe. Also bought a Westie to sit on the back shelf. Pension book due next week.
By the way Wavehumper, how's Emily???
You remember, the girl you asked "Are you coming home with us?"
You remember, the girl you'd never met or spoken to before!
You remember, the one you picked up (literally) in the pub car park!

FORCE 8
You told me is was only blowing a 3.......
What a fantastic day, thanks to all. (The Jackeens & Wavehumper especially for travelling such a long way in extreme conditions - DM who equally trailed from the Midlands - John Firth and his pal Andy (wait until you see the photos of these 2).
Ribless Ian and Debs (what a wife - sat in the car whilst we had fun, but oopps, we forgot her whilst we went to the pub - bad husband) & Jono who will no doubt invoice us all for his tutorial on boat recovery in a 4 foot breaking swell.
Cruising with you lot is a pleasure and for those ever thinking of joining a Cruise with the likes of the above, be assured they're all an extremely copetent, well experienced bunch. I for one learnt a lot from each and every one. a real good day, thanks again.
John, get them photos on here quick, especially the ones of you and Andy doing a spot of welding !!!
Phil.............oh boy we could give you some greif, if I were you I'd delete your post Re; 7 hours.

MeMe
I tried sending a PM but your mailbox is full, and the email address sent the photos back to me. I'll put the pictures on tonight and send you copies and the other info I promised.
