Got your new engine yet?
You dont't need another engine, what is you need is a 5.4 sea rider.
I know just the man who will do you a px

Yep, but i must say finding guinea pigs this time of year is diffacult. He loved it if a little wet and cold at the end!
Phil---I'm on 100% for that but do tend to need a few weeks notice. If you want to do an overnighter i know a good location up the medway with a pub / B+B attached???

OKay, just done a fag-packet calc on that route, it's about 28miles form Herne Bay to Chatham marina (H24) going outside Sheppy, we can come back inside the Swale the next day (bit shorter and different scenery) and another 13miles for me from Margate. What do you think?

I'm up for that too !!
Daniel
I'd be up for a run up the Medway too, one of my normal Sunday runs is up to Hoo marina and back again, normally i go up the inside of the island and round the outside comming back and last time out i took Phil this way with me, think Phils now a convert to the Kent coast gang.
glad you were out on Sunday so you can vouch that it was as we said it was, so those Northern boys know we arnt such nancies down south :-)
Glad top banana is performing well, i've only just finished running my engine in after the recent rebuild and must say its performed well so far.
Richard

Sub 5m nancy
Jono,
Haven't got new engine yet because Evinrude has put UK launch date for the new ETec range back to Jan/Feb 2004 Hope this doesn't allude to teething problems with them, although the official reason given is that the factory is currently flat out trying to meet demand in the US and Australian markets. Don't think a 5.4 Searider would fit in my back garden and I have to say the novelty of the 4m hasn't worn off yet! Even if I eventually do elect to get a bigger rib I'd probably keep the baby one anyway and just move house!
Daniel,
Great to hear you're available for the New Year - anywhere round the Kent coast is fine with me. If you're thinking of an overnighter, would Calais be an option, or am I being a bit too ambitious?

Invitations requested
Any chance of invites for 'Northerner's' to join you off the Kent coast? That is if we are available on the dates you choose.
N.B. Nobody from up here has committed to this trip irrespective of other posts that may appear on this forum!

Northern ribsters sought
Attractive, sub-5metre southern ribsters would like to meet northerners/east midlanders of similar persuasion for fun times out in Ribs, WHY, maybe more. Must have GSOH, own Rib and ferret. Please send photo of ferret.

I'll be there.......
and so will Sammy. Please confirm dates so that I can confirm the same with my interpreter, get my jabs and stock up with lard sandwiches for the trip as I'm not to keen on foreign (Southern) food.

It's not his dog....
I'm worried about. From what I hear, Mr Fish likes to sniff other Gentleman's bottoms himself...
