The Bridge Tavern in Camber Dock. They owe me a lot of favours so could call in a few if that is a sutable venue?

Here are two suggestions, the Ariel Cafe on Poole Quay or the Bankes Arms at Studland.

Are you intending on this trip to be 'boating based, or just a good excuse for a pi$$ up and leave the boat at home.?

Captains Club - Christchurch - black tie under your dry suits and I can walk around the corner to it. Save me a fortune in fuel and I will be able to buy a drink.

It has always been boating based , however my personal experience of the Folly in 2012 wasn't that great ( considering how much money was spent that da and in previous years).
Its always a risk as if it was duff weather no one would be keen to go across the solent & then no one turns up ....
I'm happy to arrange but was wondering about options re venue that would still allow people to go (by car etc ) if it was duff weather.
Some good options coming out - I'd love something Poole/Christchurch way but realise most boats are Solent based who go to this .
A mainland option with boaty access would be ideal - the camber would work I'm sure - if its duff weather there is still the option to just drive/ trailer some boat & have blast out of the harbour and come back while the
hardy ( Avocet ) can enjoy a spirited cruise to get there.
Biffs could work well with a hog roast type idea ( but he'd have to tidy up according to Mrs Biff )
Or the Grand osprey opening ball could be likewise - but lets let them get some stuff sorted before we descend on them and place lots of orders ( actually we could all order today )

To be clear if we have it at mine, we could do maybe a Saturday that way people who have come from further afield can stay over, either camp, camper or b&b, I have the room in the barn for the do, haven't thought about chairs etc, have room to park everybodies cars , campers, caravans, tents etc, I won't mind if people turn up Friday either, I am going to need a hand with this though, thinking deeper into such a do we need to sort food, drink, seating tables, music, etc

My sister has done loads of these type things on the farm, plenty of bins is a good idea and loads of hands on for the clean up. If you can find a band at an open mike night that won't charge the earth then that helps.

- although if the Castle Tavern at Camber is the venue, I might keep a better eye on my mooring lines than last time!
