Oh my gord, not only has JK and Alan Priddy blown out the conference, but I see that Manos won't be there either.
I also won't be attending having taken up extreme sports. Actually I am painting a kitchen door and watching it dry!

You're on Hart! I promise I will leave my throttles at idle!(I have a larger gauntlet!)
Is it just me or am I reading the weather incorrectly - it looks quite good for Friday thru Sunday, that is, not much wind to speak of?

I think QS against your Scorpion is a bit unfair, but I'll have a go...
Er...unless you have a sib onboard that is.

Rolling Start
Martin Stacey is starting out from Exmouth Saturday morning on YellowRib and coming round to Torbay to meet me about 09.30.
We will then go over to Brixham to meet Andy M. (?) in Awesome and anyone else launching there (no Manos now).
We will then depart say 10.00 for Starehole Bay arriving before 11.00. Meeting Cookee/Kitten on BananaShark and Ribraff on the Olmec 600, plus anyone else launching there.
It's 22NM from there to Mayflower so we should all arrive before 12.00
If there is anyone who wants to join/leave/or modify any of the above, please let me know.
My mobile will be on from 09.15 onwards (that is 07792 163133).
Remember also Dual-watch on 77 and 16 VHF

No GPS / Need chart really
My GPS (mapping) will not be repaired in time for the weekend, and although i was going to 'break' the rules and use it as the sole source of navigation data now i can't!!!
So what i need is a location for a chandlery near Mayflower where i can get a local chart tommorow??? Any ideas Brian?
I shall be there (Mayflower) mid afternoon FRIDAY now - mobile always on , 07770 382920, VHF DW but can't hear it when on the water - i've got a 2 stroke! My crews mobile is 07961 175775.

Daniel, There is a Chandlery at Mayflower that should be able to sort you out a chart. We will be down sometime Friday albeit without the RIB.

Daniel IF IF IF Mayflowers chandlery hasn't got the chart, at Queen Anne's Battery marina is The Sea Chest, probably the biggest and best chart shop in the UK.

OK, I've been off line for the last few days but I am planning to leave tomorrow, (Friday) morning at about 9am from Iver, (Bucks)...
So I may be able to catch up to you tea drinkers at the Reading Service Station. See you somewhere on the road!
Mine's the car with the boat behind it.

OK These are the names I have for badges. Please check that you are on the list.
If you are coming and not on the list you will miss on on receiving, what many have already come to recognise, as a true collectors piece that will only gain in value. A true nautical momento and certificate of membership of a truly heroic band of no-hopers and work-time-wasters!
Listen Listen Don't laugh!
I have already received several frantic phone calls from Franklin Mint BEGGING me to sell them the rights to the badge design.
"Sorry mate, if you are not a rib.net member, and attending Plymouth you have had it"
I told 'em. So don't you miss out.

Well we are all in the Invicta and Crazyhorse is still going on about RCD in a drunken haze. I am typing this sitting on the receptionists knee. Thankyou very much.
