So was that you in the tatty SR54 'rescuing' the scantily clad young lady who decided to go for a swim?

It was me. I did not rescue her though as new her game. We did however grab another, who decided to go for a swim, but then found she could not get back on the boat she jumped off.
With regards to the boat, yes it was tatty. It was borrowed from a school as out boat is too big for that kind of event. Next year however we will have our own smaller boat as are having a small rib made for the river work we do.
What boat were you on.

I remember. I think she liked the thought of being pulled out of the water. However we were not willing to play her game, but was concerned about her slipping and knocking her head on the boat then going in the water.
She did ask us to rescue her, when she was in the water for which we said, we dont rescue swimmers !!

From what we saw I think she just liked the idea of men in general!

I think you were extremely professional with the way you (didn't) handled her. I'm sure she was winking at you on more than one occasion...
Nice work slowing down/diverting a couple of the idiots too. I saw you get hit at least twice. Difficult job (specially in drysuits in that heat) well done.
Which one were you btw? Hair on head or hair on chin? I think I was wearing the only ribnet t-shirt there.

What a great trip and thanks to all the others who tipped us off to the the event. We left Chi harour about 1500 staight into quite thick fog with visibilty down to around 50 m at times , this cleared after the Forts and we arrived in Cowes in glorious sunshine .
High spots were seeing flames coming from the stern of OLD SPICE shouting at Pete7 that he was on fire to be calmy told its a BBQ ! Meeting Jimbo and Tim M with assorted lovely girls . Can you imagine how poorly equiped Evolutions is ? No corkscrew on board!!!! We of course saved the day with that one . Left about 1900 had a pint at the Folly and caught up with Pete 7 Nauti and I think the Jackeens sorry did not say hello .
Fab run to Pompey to drop off one of our crew to catch the train back to London then home to HISC just in time for last orders . Great trip can't wait for next year hope the tides work out .

From inside, the rolling stones were pretty amazing. I have some video on my phone that I will try and post, or at least some photos. The river and opposite bank looked very busy, much more so than previous years...apparently the sound wasn't too good outside the main arena though?

The sound was grand. In fact I wouldn't have minded had it deteriorated considerably during Keef's solo. (Johnny Depp's old dad in Pirates )
Doubt if old Sir Keith would get through the first round of Pop Idol these days
