Quite difficult the pics bit - because we are going back to a time when digital / phones etc did not exist. Here is the bike I was on - which caused sensations in the IOM as there were very few road versions produced. Steve Spray and Trevor Nation were winning the all the events on the Norton works bikes. My mate was on a beautiful Ducati 851 and Jezza was on his trusty Trident. Ah them were the days.

So who's up for this weekend ?

Last time Willk, Dan and I went to the IOM was for the TT!! However it was a day trip in heavy fog. So much so that not a single race was run the day we were there
We went into Douglas last time so haven't been to Peel. IOM guys were great and very helpful to us.
I'll pencil in the 21st.

Will post more info when I have feed back from them
Also see if a mod can change the title from TT race to " IOM 21st June "
I'm sure Brian can arrange a place for the ribs so this cruise is definitely on

I am sure you will have no problems parking at Peel.
If you want to park in the Marina itself, you will need to arrive at flapgate open times (+ and - 2 hours either side of high tide).
No problems with space, Mike is the HM.
If you arrive outside those times, there is loads of room alongside the breakwater wall. However you MUST respect the fishing boats and NOT tie up to, or alongside them.
Best to raft-up at the inner point on the breakwater, next to the RNLI station.
And there are now a whole harbour full of pontoons, security gates, cameras etc. so your pride and joy will be quite safe!

P.S. Can someone please tell me what "Howzit Looey" actually mean?
I presume he is not asking the umpire if Louis is out.

Tony t,
Unfortunately (or otherwise) I am on the ferry going the other way to Scotland at 07.30 that morning. You have chosen exactly the day I am going away. B*******r.
However Cypman (Ian) is here and will assist.
Please let him know how many are coming and which port will you dock at. He MAY be able to accommodate you himself.

It's been 21st June arrival since the middle of January?
Or, to put it another way, you have chosen exactly the day we're arriving to evacuate the island.
Leave the money for the round you were going to buy all of us behind the bar in Peel before you go!
