Listened to a piece on Radio Cornwall the other morning re. J Regatta. The local organisers convinced the J Class race organisers that the weather in Falmouth would be similar to Antigua in June. When it's not been pi$$ing down, the fog has been as thick as a bag.

Shame, coz they are an awesome sight.

My kids Great Papa crewed on Endeavour J Class Yachts : JK4 : Endeavour when she raced here in the 30's.

Have been out each day with them, racing hard in F 7 . Unbelievable sight, totally amazing and a privilege to see. Good fun on the Rib too of course in the big seas..
Bring on the Pendennis cup next week.

If you are coming out, listen to your VHF , obey orders from the race committee boats and don't be a muppet and get in the way.
