One year most of us had our forum monikers on the boats, mine was just tucked in behind the windshield.

I'll sort some sticky labels for names ....and pens
Good idea from Ian if poeple are not familiar with who is on what boat.
One idea...while we should have the entire pontoon to ourselves if the smaller boats can hold off to allow the bigger boats to get in first (as long as possible) anything bigger on the inside may make the inevitable rafting up less stressful ( on boats and poeple) ?
Make full use of VHF or a generic call to 'Any RIBNET vessel' if unsure of boat names etc - I am sure would be fine to establish comms.
Of course PM post if any drama/ concerns etc etc

Have we got a nominated working channel? 72? 77?
How about actually trying to use the RIBnet group MMSI? It's 023 200 057 but I don't know how many people have it programmed into their radios.
Don't forget we also have a RIBnet MMSI list which uses the MMSI information from everyone's profile.

Hi David - went down to the yard yesterday and launching and recovery looks to be a bit of a hassle this weekend - so would greatly appreciate a lift
Lets liaise
Thanks

Yeah I'm sure there will be a few up for a blast to the needles before lunch. Wouldnt be worth towing all that way for a quick hop over to the folly

That would have been great, unfortunately we're having some logistical challenges so won't be able to launch that early
Hope you have fun, keep an eye out for Snoopy.
See you on Sunday
Ian

Unless there is a plan already think I'll aim to launch for 9.30 which should give us enough time for a blast around and RV at south bramble for 11.30.
I tend to use ch8 in the solent but will go with the masses.
MattH yes good to catch up have you got something new to abuse round the needles?
Maximus tried to get a pass out for staying over and going fishing on Monday with you and whisper but the extra car needed for the others to get home is a PITA.....another time
Whisper you have been unusually quiet on this thread happy with a 9.30 start?

I have been quiet as I have been weaving a bit of Whisper wonder.....
I need to speak to the Nos as we are travelling together but I believe we will launch from Calshot in time to meet at the RV, unless the Nos-es want a blast ???
