Lift to RIBEX? - Saturday 12 May 2007
Is anyone thinking of going to RIBEX who would be willing to take a fare paying passenger (me!), preferrably on the Saturday? Pick up from Lymington, Southampton or thereabouts.
Really very reluctant to go to a RIB exhibition on a ferry, and I'm still building my RIB Very willing to pay share of fuel, drinks and anything else that is needed

What we really need to do Ian is for everyone to have a meet up for lunch or something.

Ian,
I might be going from Southampton Dry Stack. Not sure which day, depends on weather. ( I am a fair weather ribber). You are welcome to join me.
Peter.

I've just come back from helping set up at Ribex. Exhibitors are rather worried about the anticipated poor turnout. Everyone was having trouble trying to stop their marquees blowing away. Landrover have apprently pulled out today becuase they don't think its worth going now. Pitty it couldn't have been a couple of weeks ago when we had all that lovely weather! I went over in the rib and got totally soaked on the way back...

Cause he'd have to row it over
Mind you though, with the number of Osprey owners around you could tie the RIB's stern to bow and walk across

Er, well, I didn't anticipate selling my previous RIB quite as quickly as I did, so I am now left with a kit form boat for the moment
