This will make it interesting in Littlehampton

Below is an extract from the ORDA newsletter

'Race Calendar Change........
The ORDA race on May Bank Holiday 27 - 29th May is re-located !!!!! This event, originally planned to be
run in Dunoon, Scotland, is now to be staged in one of ORDA's home ports, that of LITTLEHAMPTON.
This change is due to the planned alternative of Poole being un-available, due to a large keelboat (sailing)
festival taking place in Poole Bay, which involves over 400 boats, & which would make for an unacceptable
clash.
Cliff Smith has come to ORDA's rescue, & at this late stage in terms of race organisation, obtained the required
clearances for our May race to be run from Littlehampton, where shore activities will be based around the
River Arun. The courses will be similar to the National Race run at the Sussex port last year, with courses
being slightly further offshore, by a little. Littlehampton Marina is assisting, & the Littlehampton Harbour Master
too, has come to our aid with his help. Race Advance Programmes will give more details, & will be available
in due course. The anticipated programme will include a National Points Race on the Saturday, with a Basic
Race on the Sunday, both counting towards ORDA's new points championship for ORDA members racing.
More Calendar Changes'

Even more to watch now
