Saturday 27th

Just to let all concerned know the end of the month is packed with on the water events at Littlehampton.

firstly there is the unscheduled Formula One Power Boat racing taking place on the weekend of our cruise. There will be a race briefing at Hillyards at 10:00 on Saturday 27th. If you just want look over these beasts they will be pitting at the Marina before and after the races.

We can watch the racing at sea just need to make sure where the starting line is ect

Just as well we booked accomodation well in advance. Just the weather cos if anything like today then we are in trouble .

We're coming

Hi all

Bruce kindly invited us to join the cruise yesterday, on one of the Prime boats.

Steph has booked us in at the Quayside B&B.

We will be mooring at the Visitors Mooring.

Andre is it too late to sort food at Arun View for the Saturday night?

Benc has kindly said I can join him on Intrepid for the cruise but I know have the problem that the B&Bs listed at the start of the thread are full. Can anyone suggest anywhere else that might still have space for 1?

Party Night at the Arun View

as the Estonian guys were leaving first thing this morning Wiesia & I stayed last night in the Arun View . It was also party night and one hell of a party. Mind you sadly the Estonians had to miss it due to their long passage today.
So we had a preview and guys like I said earlier don't forget your dancing shoes. The DJ was great and played a lot of my type of music ie from the sixties

So far I have heard from the Warners and Benc,I,ll call Ribshop later in the week.
I have not heard from Bogib + 1 - Arctic Challenger ,M & A - Kismet or
Charlie C + 1 - Shrek despite emailing them via Ribnet so cannot be sure if they are monitoring this thread.
I suggest contact on friday night to firm up meeting points and an assessment of the forecast.

Bogi unfortunately due to work load has had to back out from the cruise. I was just about to update the participants when I saw your post.

There is now a double room vacant at the Arun View which I have offered to Gray but still awaiting his acceptance. If I do not hear from Gray today then it is available on the first come first served basis. Pls post your details if you want it

Sorry Timboli for not replying to your email as I just saw it late last night.

Unfortunately due to extreme workload at the moment I and my crew had to cancel the trip and have informed Andre.

I am very sorry for this as we all looked really forward to the trip although not on Arctic Challenger as my fitting team we are over to Stourport first weekend in June to fit the engine and all equipment and hopefully we will be able to put her on water nearby for initial testing.

I wish you all great time and look forward to your pics and posts

Bogi, María Erla and Hjalti

I now have a room at the Arun View (thanks Andre ) on saturday and will be jumping on board with benc on Intrepid.

The room is a twin room so if there is someone who is looking for somewhere to stay they can have the spare in my room and we'll split the cost of the room.

Lets hope for some good weather!
