Hi All - just a quick hello from me, to all those who know me !

I have not read ALL your posts and not sure as to which area you will be cruising to - but hey, if i can be of assistance and point you in the direction of a fabulous days racing that can be viewed from the South side of Ventnor (IoW) seafront and hoping that this would not be too far out for your cruise, then you must go see the ThunderCats in action on their 1st heat of the ThunderCats and OCR national championships.........

Details: http://www.thundercatracing.co.uk/in...&t=66&m=racing

Location:http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...=newsearch.srf

Racing is hoped to start each day around 12 mid-day and finish between 3 or 4pm.
This is a large event with 40+ cats in attendance and will hopefully get TV coverage also !

Whatever you all decide to do on your weekend, have a good one and i sure hope the weather is in your favour - Cheers everyone......

John.

Thanks John for the info. We will bear that in mind and perhaps instead of going to Brighton on Sunday just head for Ventnor to watch the Thundercats but that will be the decision of all. Nice place Ventnor had lunch there with Mike C on Monday and the weather was just great

Guys have spoken to Paul from the Arun View and a kiddies menu will be sent to me tomorrow.

Have to say that I would like to watch the racing, but I'm easy but don't let everybody know that!

As for the Sunday trip to Brighton Marina for lunch (weather & time permiting) or The Thundercats racing at Ventnor then some thoughts before we put the motion to vote would be appreciated

I think it is a good idea but then again I do not want to influence the vote

With that many RIBs, there's no reason at all why there shouldn't be a group going to each on Sunday.

Brighton would be my choice simply because Ventnor is on our 'home patch', although it would be good to watch some racing. Perhaps if the vote is split we could split into two groups and one group head east and the other west! I think the weather may make up our minds on the day, though!

P.S. Sorry to see DJL has dropped out.

Edit: great minds think alike, JK!

Louise, you have sharp eyes , yes sadly Daniel has to work that weekend

As for we go East or West or only East or only West - we will have a vote on that

Just spoken to Dave the deputy Harbour master (Colin not back till Monday) and have advised him of the cruise. There will be no problem for overnight mooring at the visitor's mooring pontoon (next to harbour master's office, good for those staying at the QuaySide B & B and the Nelson Hotel) there may be a modest charge but this we will discuss with Colin

Send a message via Yahoo to Noddy
To all those who are camping at The Ship and Anchor:
I am trying to find out about an overnight mooring for Saturday but the
Owner is on holiday until Monday. As soon as I find out either way I will let you know. My idea is to moor up if possible and then "taxi it" to The Arun View for the evening meal. Dont think its far and then if you want to drink you can. Unless anyone has an alternative of course?
regards
Martyn

Blimey that didn't take long. As Andre said I’m now working that weekend.

Thanks to Andre and co for organising everything - sorry I can't be there. I hope everyone has a good trip.
