Andre
Please count us in for this event.
We will camp at the ship and anchor but will launch at the public slipway in Littlehampton.
Are you arranging for mooring in Littlehampton marina or do we need to do this ourselves ?.
Look forward to meeting some new people and yourself.
Unfortunately our boat still has no name !!.
Regards
Peter, Debbie, Anthony & Keith

Thanks for your confirmation
as you will be camping at the S & A why not keep the rib there as well.
The LAmpton marina is going to be full and could be problems hence mooring at the Arun View and Visitors Mooring by the Harbour masters office ( I am yet to speak to the harbour master)
Will now update the list and put you with the welcoming party
Look forward to meeting you all

Dear Nauti Boy
We will be staying at the Ship & Anchor.
Not sure where we will launch yet as this depends on mooring and tide etc.

Peter
on Saturday HW is at 11:27 so no problems with launching in LAmpton
If you cannot moor at the S & A then the Arun View will be Ok but you will need a lift to the S & A hence my saying you should moor there
A full proposed programme will be posted once Phil & I get our heads together

Hi Guys
Just thought this would be the most appropriate thread for the introductions.
This is a PARKER 750RS just like the one I have ordered for RIBEX2005. The engine will be the Mercury Verado 225 . Hopefully it will arrive just in time for the LAmpton cruise so "Blue Ice" this looks like a challenge

Wow! Yet another excellent thing to look forward to! No, not the challenge! (Don't think our 200 hpdi will be able to beat a 225 verado ) I'm looking forward to seeing your new RIB.
Roll on May!
P.S. If anyone is considering joining this cruise, sign up! It was a great trip last year.
Edit: Of course we're looking forward to seeing you all again too!

Hi Louise
What I really meant was that for the first time I will be able to keep up with "Blue Ice" perhaps even overtake
Anyway after RIBEX I will go back to Diesel

Hi Richard(Nauti-Buoy)
We will also be staying at the ship and anchor - I have been trying to contact them but only getting an answerphone? Still dont know what the set up is there, is it a camp site and a marina or are they separate entities?
Please count us in if you are sorting out pitches - maybe when someone gets through they could be told to expect a few of us?
thanks
Martyn

The mooring at the S & A is private and the access to the pontoon is normally locked and you need the code to open the gate. I will be down there on Saturday so will make enquiries and post info in the evening

If you are checking out the camping at Ship & Anchor could you also see if they will have any moorings and that we can launch either on Friday or Saturday morning.
Thanks
Peter

To all those who are thinking of using the Ship and Anchor:
They have just contacted me and there are apparently launching
facilities there but as Andre has already mentioned it is very dependant on the tide.
They are also willing to provide an area for all those of us attending but there would be no electric hook up?
They are sending me details shortly so anything of interest I will post on here
Martyn

What no electric hook up, well if that is a problem for anyone I have a ultra quiet Honda Generator which you are welcome to plug into as well myself. Although for one night I am sure I can do without Sky TV especially in company and also seeing there is a pub on site!!

There are Moorings there but what the arrangements are for booking one I dont know as yet? Maybe Andre will check it out when he visits at the weekend?
As for the lack of hook-ups I should be ok provided there are a few to push my camper after watching Emmerdale?

Thanks for the reply. Electric hook up is not something we need so no problem there.
Just hope we are back from the trip in time for you to watch Emerdale etc ???.
Anyway joking apart we look forward to meeting you and the others in May.
Peter
