Whatever turns you on!!! The Kyles are fine just now plenty shelter and flat calm today unlike Loch Fyne which is a bit more jabbly but not more than a wee chop.

Callum,
I usually launch and stay at the kip for a week/2 at a time. I was going to put boat in water saturday but i just bought a SIB on friday and was busy fixing bits and bobs on it to suit my needs, so weekend was gone.
wed onwards is chucking it down or i'd put it in the kip for the week or so and get about the place a bit more.
give me a shout next time you are about and i'll join you at kip for a jaunt/2.
planning to go to the IOM in next few weeks all going well too if you want.
cheers

Has Kip done anything about it's slip? Last time I used it, I had to "dig it out" from under the weed.

Kip slip is perfect yes. I had a drama last time too and boat stuck in 3ft of sand that was just under water behind the trailer.
The key is call them and ask if they cleaned the slip, they will always go do it if need be.
Cheers

Thanks for the info. I'd stopped using it after my last encounter when we had a real problem getting the Mits. L200 back up the slip.
Have a good day at LL.

good day at LL, quite a few sibs and ribs knocking about too. cracking redbay with twin zukes 115's on it pulling out as i left.
i swore Fernando Alonso was at Luss on a hire power boat, if it wasn't him it was the spitting image of him.
cheers

Maybe the warden's boat? - they have a small fleet of Redbays - 11m, 7.4m and 6.1m

i know the rangers have a couple of redbays, the big 11m (??) one was lying at the door of the station out the water for whatever reason and the one with twins was lying in its usual place. it may have even been a single 115 on it actually.....never paid much attention.
it was a 7.2 i'm sure the badge said, never seen one that size. i thought they only had a 640 and then a 7.4, maybe an older design.
i don't think it was the rangers boat though, was in good condition, the ranger ones are pretty poor TBH.
cheers
