Lord Mayors Firework Show - Thames - 11th November

Hi All

Planning on a cruise down the Thames (leaving Putney at about mid day) up to Thames barrier and then back for the fireworks between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridge at 16:50pm.

Anyone else planning on seeing the fireworks show from the river?

Regards
David

Hi David,

would be good to join you, should be a fun afternoon out.

But am a little wary as had engine troubles on last proper trip out.
Ran down local river last weekend and seemed to be OK, but not given it a proper blast, so some company would be good.

where are you launching from in Putney - the embankment or the slip by the bridge?

Hope you're all well

Cheers

Neil

Cool - will see you there about then.

Low tide is about 1325 and high about 1815 from what I can work out, and it's just coming off a spring, so expect high tide to be quite high.

Recovering could be fun!

Looking forward to it.

Neil

Hi David,

Thanks for spotting this was on! Was a good afternoon out, and a good first twilight cruise.

also was good to prove the outboard works and I only have a problem from the inboard tank to the engine. Have changed the water seperator/filter today, and what came out of it was orange! Next step - check what's in the tank!

Could not resist on the photo front, they're not great, but the one of us alongside the barge is a classic!!!

Cheers

Neil

Cheers Neil

It was a great evening, thanks for your company.

I think I'll set a new fashion style there, twin headlamps on my chest .(good old crewsaver life jacket eh).

In the diary for next year with a note about bringing a faster camera.

Good to hear your getting to the bottom of your fuel supply problem.

Catch up with soon, regards

David & Katie
