Apologies, there are bound to be omissions & misst/mistek/mess/ errors so please update thread. Especially the Littlehampton Gang. We've totally mixed up who's on which boat etc, sorry!

Cool Pompey Dudes will meet Southampton Hot stuff (and beyond) at Calshot 11.51 or Cowes at 12.03.
Port Solenteers breakfast Lloyds at 9.02 (all welcome!) Lightship for 10.49
Comms Chn 77 !
Cheryl Greenwood of The Folly is expecting us from 12.30! And there may be Irish Stew on the menu!
Wearing green stuff and mad outfits is encouraged as is the playing of diddley-eye music and riverdancing (on pontoons only). Quaffing 'Irish Cappucinos' would be an ideal pastime for crew
If 'tis your first mad RIBnet blast have a read of JK's RIBnet cruising advice.
Weather may be a nice breezy F4 and looking bright!!!
But please continue to add any weather updates! (Met Office Martin and rickuk 3 )
PS Thanks Nauti for the tiny little pennants for the A Frame

Kathleen & Paul

Notice to Mariners : Please avoid the reeds at Calshot as The Garfish likes to hang out among the bulrushes taking potshots at all and sundry - recently bringing down a full tugboat.

Launching at Camber dock too. Time to be decided. What time are Camber people launching?

Slight change of plan for us lot. I think we will try and meet the lymington posse (when are you chaps meeting???) then cruise up to calshot where we'll leave them to head to cowes to visit the flourist for mothers day. Might grab a beer quickly before flying back to yarmouth (anyone have any idea how to protect a bunch of flowers from a 35knot rib ride?! ).

Won't make it to the folly I'm afraid as we're riding bikes in the afternoon. We may well cross paths in Cowes though.

Now lymington chaps....when are we meeting?!!!

Apologies for errors and /or omissions. At least it's printable out now if you want to have a record of who's who.

Cool Pompey Dudes will meet Southampton Hot stuff (and beyond) at Calshot 11.51 or Cowes at 12.03.
Port Solenteers breakfast Lloyds at 9.02 (all welcome!) Lightship for 10.49
Comms Chn 77 !
Lymington Peeps making arrangements also (please see Milo's phone number)
If 'tis your first mad RIBnet blast have a read of JK's RIBnet cruising advice.
Littlehamptoneers set off around 9.00.

Wind forecasted at a brisk F5. Not a day for the bikini Andre

Paul & Nauti are already on the water rescuing a yacht but hopefully they'll be back for snorkers and fried eggs.

Kathleen & Paul

Cheryl Greenwood of The Folly is expecting us from 12.30! And there may be Irish Stew on the menu!
Wearing green stuff and mad outfits is encouraged as is the playing of diddley-eye music and riverdancing (on pontoons only). Quaffing 'Irish Cappucinos' would be an ideal pastime for crew. Apparently there is also a Big Rugby Match or Two! Talk of 'staggered kick-offs' seems highly appropriate for the day that's in it

Sorry we had to cut and run. Natasha was not feeling comfortable in the chop. I could see no point in scaring her. She has been out in far worse, but with just me and her on board we decided to turn back.

I hope you all had a good trip, and we are looking forward to the next effort.

It is a bit of a shame as I had been cultivating a beautiful Greeun deck since December in honour of St Paddy himself.

Back home now. It was a bit lumpy in the solent, got a bit of a soaking.

Nice to meet all of you that I did meet and put faces to the names.

Many thanks to Paul and Kathleen for making me so welcome.

Here's a few photos

1.Paul pondering something in his Guiness hat.

2.Merlin sporting her Paddy's day Flag

3.Nautibouy with Merlin in the Background
