Mad March Medina Muster - Saturday 17 March 2007
It seems a few people are itching to get out on the Solent shortly and tonight at the Nasher gathering, March seemed a good idea!
So how about ye?
Suggested date Saturday March 17th with Sunday in reserve in case of hurricanes!
People found The Folly a good all-round destination so are keen to return.
First booking : Andy Hightower aboard Merlin!
Sign up if you are keen and in the vicinity at all (at all).
Kathleen & Paul
(Note : wearing anything green on the 17th will of course automatically bring good luck and possible sainthood to the wearer as tis the feast of good old St Paddy himself, a dacent Welshman & patron saint of guinness, Riverdance, tiny weeds and turf fires)

He was born in Roman Britain but when he was about sixteen he was captured by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Ireland, where he lived for six years before escaping and returning to his family. He entered the church, as his father and grandfather had before him, becoming a deacon and a bishop. He later returned to Ireland as a missionary, working in the north and west of the island, and by using Monasteries as the center for his missionary work had great success in the conversion of Ireland. By the seventh century he had become a patron saint of Ireland, and the foundations of Irish Christianity were attributed largely to him.

Yep, I'm up for that, one or two spare seats going as well if anyone is boatless and fancies a ride.

Put us down for a trip out that day.
Will probably be the first time Nashers Revenge gets wet this year.

Mad March Medina Muster
We will be there! Our first Ribnet outing!
Provided I get all the work on the boat finished!
We are out of the Hamble. Where do you normally meet?
Is someone going to call Andy and make a reservation?

Mad March Medina Muster
Run to The Folly
Excellent!
Looks like a few hardy peeps are up for this! Good idea to contact Andy, JABS! We'll give them a bell in a day or so? But if you're in contact with them please go ahead and ask them if all is OK.
Peeps interested so far :
Biggles
Hightower
JABS & crew
Nasher family
Nautibuoy
Robin (kilted) & guest
tcwozere
the jackeens
Anyone else out there fancy freezing their face in the cold March breezes and then warming up over a bevvy and chips at The Folly?
JABS we can arrange to meet up around Calshot or Cowes nearer the time? Depending on what suits you.
Kathleen & Paul
(P.S. March 17th is an international excuse to have a bit of a blast and wearing anything OTT and tacky means luck for the rest of the year so fire away Biggles & Robinandguest!!!! We might drag out our Paddy's Day hats also!)

SWMBO has said "are we going" so guess we are off to buy some antifoul paint now before she goes back in the water

I think that sentence needs a bit more grammar, just to avoid confusion!
Please can you bring the Osprey? I've never seen what the bow looks like, and this would be my chance

Would love to come along but unfortunately HW at LAmpton on Saturday 17th is at 10:34 so would have to get back by 2:30 and who knows what Selsy Bill will be like on the day
From 1 April this will not be a problem cos moving Seahawk IV to Chichester Marina. Lynx, Sidney1 and Galaxsea II are also moving Chichester
