Let her squeeze between the engine & "A" frame, wait while she stops whistling & give the engine a quick burst of reverse to give everything a rinse

[QUOTE=HUMBER P4VWL;442158]After that we'll need to get motoring and yes, next stop Holyhead I guess for a breather, coffee, toilet break and general boat maintenance. Then we will head on. (If its flat calm and tide right (which it should) I'd envisage another stop at red wharf, or amlch.) QUOTE]

Bychan beach between Moelfre & Benllech has toilets a cafe and car parking It has a sandy beach and is very popular for boating type peep's. This could be a good place to stop if needed. It's about 7miles from puffin Isle.

We have more pit stops arranged than a bloody Grand Prix...!!

Looks like i will be one of the 1st back while you lot piss about

Talking of Holyhead, there is a £7.00 minium charge for a short stay, so a P is going to be expensive..Dont think they will let 20 plus ribs moor up for free that day do you unless we are in an out quick like a yoyo

£7!!!! What just to stop for 20 mins?

Is there somewhere sheltered there we can tie up to? If not we can go in behind the breakwater, Out the way of the ferry towards the marina, We could just float about there or grab moorings to take stock and let people catch up. Any thoughts Tony?

If you raft up, then does the boat against the pontoon get hit with the £7 charge.

If so, then if there are 20 boats in the raft, it is only 35p for a P - only a little more than Euston Station!

O yea that would be a sight to behold 1 long raft with a load of ladies trying to get from one to the other, it would be like a kiddies Bouncing Castle that 20 min stop would turn in to 2 hour stop

Well on that statement, I think then, that Pikey's suggestion is well founded.

Pi(SS)t Stop

Spoken to my other half and told her that there is only one stop and that's to refuell! Suggested wearing pampers but that did not go down well. Anyway today she has gone out and bought a new toy - the extra long version.

Shewee Extreme

Now we can both splash our boots!

Looking like there's 40 odd for the nght do. Do they have real ale on in the bar? If not, any chance of him putting a barrel on?

on the subject of pitstops, and not being one to start anything, but my many trips to Anglesey for work and boating, probably the least attractive locations for a break would be either Amlwch or Holyhead, both are a touch harsh on the eyes after all that lovely rocky coastline my vote would be for Cemaes Bay, from my not so good memory there are toilets and a cafe/icecreme shop, maybe if I'm lucky we can stock up on wine gums or have I been missing something

Is there much shelter at Cemaes bay? Plus, I envisage needing a stop further round for people to sort themselves out. Holyhead seems the only option. But if a calm day we can stop I'm sure.

if it's not calm enuff for shelter in Cemaes then how many will be going anyway I don't mind a dash across to Ty Coch in a good swell, but round Anglesey still, as long as the wine gums stay dry
