We'll be down the Friday night but it could be late, probably 9ish before we land. It might be fish & chips & an early night.

Guess it's gonna be a last minute "Where do you think you will be and from what time" as I for one will not know what time I will be getting there so will probably see who I can meet up with based on what time I land.
It could be any were between 6-9pm so can't really make any definite plans to meet for a meal but would like to meet up where ever possible.

I was hopeing to leave about 2 so could meet you on route but then you know what happens to best laid plans, my friend might be late so might be some time after. That's my plan though so if all goes to plan I could be passing Ferrybridge services about 3-3:30pm

I would only consider going as far as Puffin Island or Red Wharf Bay and back. Are there any other Ribsters planning to do this?

Hi KND, I'll hopefully be doing the trip in my 4.8 mtr 75hp tornado, not worried about the run only the weather being ok on the day. There is a lot of very experienced crews out who will look after you, and me lol.

Thanks Jeff, Shaunholland has emailed me something similar. I have done my PB2, navigation and safety course, and have VHF qualification. The trouble is I have forgotten half of it and I didn't use the Rib at all last year, so this will be my first trip in 2 years. But as you say, if the weather is ok everything should be fine.

It as been confirmed Michel (Bilksem from Belgium) will be joining us for the cruise, he will be on Domino so if anyone wants to say hi or give him a ride on their Rib give us a shout . He is traveling a long way to join us for the weekend and he is very much looking forward to meeting us and seeing what sort of sea's we play in
I'm not sure yet if he will be at the night pig roast because he as to travel back early Sunday so Mr Kerny if he does decide to join us i'm sure we can sort that out on the day
