Neal, Thanks for this, very good call. Any chance you could speak with coastguard just to let them know what is happening? I think it worth doing.

C-Fury Simon, Welcome. Will be great to see you.

Tony T, what channel do you fancy then?

For the purpose of this thread and cruise, for those who don't have 2days to read all the posts, most boats will be launching at Ty Calch at Chris's. The evening do too is in Caernarfon.

Departure 11.00-11.30 am on Sat 28th April. Heading anticlockwise round the Island. LW at Caernarfon is 9.50. So going through bridges approaching 1/3 tide. IF YOU DONT KNOW THE ROUTE THROUGH, ENSURE YOU FOLLOW OTHERS IN FILE V CLOSELY. THIS IS CRITICAL IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR PROP!! ANYONE WHO KNOWS THE ROUTE PLEASE HEAD TO THE FRONT. (Rocknrolla/TonyT/Chris Caton/davidgriffiths etc)

I REITERATE ALL BOATS SHOULD BE SELF SUFFICIENT IN ALL ASPECTS OF BOATING AND THE CRUISE. THIS IS JUST A GROUP OF LIKE MINDED PEOPLE GETTING ON THE WATER TOGETHER NOT AN OFFICIAL EVENT. Notwithstanding the above, as at any other time on the water, I'd expect all who are out on the day to help others in any way they can and keep an eye on eachother.

Boats at Menai Bridge/Porth Daniel or Beaumaris need to be in the water waiting by 11.30-12 or you may miss the pack coming through. I'll be by the Gazelle as any good Cardinal bouy should be, marking the pub . Others then are joining from Beaumaris and onwards.

As we travel round the Island the tide's coming in, great for re-floating those who like to find sandbanks, and great for anyone who turns back and goes through the bridges alone or with others who don't know the route so well with much more water underneath them.

As we head past Puffin Island if too rough on the NE side we will likely split in to groups of differing speed or all head back, heading back down the Strait and round the SW side of the Island.

Due to the number of boats, other than ensuring all at Ty Calch set off together, we can't warrant waiting for anyone who is late to launch. Once moving, it may be best to head along in groups to watch for eachother. Naturally an 8m boat will go on ahead of a 5m with any type of sea. I hope though we can stay together up to Puffin at least, then make headway and stop offs where we wish. I envisage a bit of a longer stop at holyhead if we get permission to see the tall ships.

HP,kerny, hadd, Pikey Dave, discomick, IndyR1, nitrox, Neil Mccrirrick, telcowilliam, Rocknrolla, Chris Caton, straitman, kawasaki, yoyo, bradosh, Tiger, Asswakr, Festinghouse, Pow2gran, Andyhendersonuk, 1978searider, Ronin, Phil riley, Silverfox, Ribeyemick, shaunholland, cookie, Jeffhutcheon, chris262112, bilksem .... from Belgium! RMS, Tony T, Europa, ribcraftsteve, Nikal, natalie and "friend", Luke sharples, dragon hawk ficht, next chapter, KND, C-Fury Simon, Alan Priddy?

The thread is getting v busy, to try and ensure some direction, pls use PMs for as much one to one (ooer) action.

who's luanching where and when - most ty calch/Caernarfon, then menai and beuamaris
who's using the tractor - pls liaise with Chris/Tony T or kerny by PM please
who's using the car park - pls liaise with Chris/Tony T or kerny by PM please[I
]who's tenting -
you must be mad [/I]
who needs a lift - please liaise with eachother
who's budding with who - please liaise with eachother
who is wearing latex- that's far too personal a question
who's colour blind and can only see b;ack - Its plain to see its the BS crew
who is stopping- pls pm eachother but most are staying over sat evening
which way are you going - anticlockwise
who needs to stop for a pi@@ - I envisage after puffin island, all will stretch out and be in groups of similar speed boats, stopping off at various points
who needs a map- keep turning left!
who wants a tee shirt - ive ordered mine already
and finally

WHO IS GOING TO THE BLOODY HOG-ROAST!! What hog roast

Excellent work Neal. If you could liaise with the coastguard on the day it will prevent lots of people doing so. I'll add this to the summary briefing post. I will pm all members on the list nearer the day too. Be good to catch up.

Are you launching at Ty Calch or Bull Bay? If the former, please could you help Rocknrolla/tonyt etc lead through the bridges!

Paul, are you really trusting the BSG to lead the way, they will get lost between the bridges
