A fine old Redbay who helped us chaperone indyr1 home. Cheers. Glad you got all the water out after swamping stern to sea whilst ashore In pilots cove.
Yoyo at WOT flying. I think he was airborne most of the day!! Excellent work
Bradosh with his crew, some of happiest souls of the day! Seem to just love being wet!

Coooookie! Phil and Gill out as usual. Good show!
Not sure who but nice Humber a discerning choice.
Again unsure who but a good white boat fighting the Black shadow crews darkness.
A valiant effort in the wind over tide by port dinorwic. Resilience paid off to keep up with the flotilla. Sterling effort.
Yellow team flying at WOT, looking good!

Scenery like this is just awesome
our first attempt at pilot cove before the redbay swamped
That's better. Redbay in background finally unswamped.

It's an Osprey Eagle and D.M. was at the helm.

Did they make it all the way round? We'll definitely bring ours along next year if it's doable.

They ran from Beaumaris to the bar and back. With force 7 wind over a 7knot tide they did really well!
With a gale warning ENE the flotilla went up to Beaumaris from Caernarvon to meet those that launched there, then we ran right back through the strait and naturally split in to groups. 3 big ribs went to Holyhead and back. About 10 in two groups made it to the SW side of Holyhead, by Treaddur bay, then turned back in to the wind due to weather picking up. A long slog back for smaller boats, with a lot of air and bows lifting. Better safe than sorry.
Many who got out over the bar went to Llandwyn island, pilots cove for some lunch. Then headed back in.
A fantastic day, no breakdowns, no accidents and many out in seas they would never have bothered/dared to alone.

had a great time but had to cut the journey short (seamed like fuel starvation, loss of power and engine sounded dog rough) running it into garage for check over before using it again, whilst setting off from Chris's got roughly passed Plas menia and started to fall behind, this is when i noticed i had engine prob's, turned around and started to head back at which i was met by tornado with 130 honda (a big thank you for seeing me back to Chris's, can you please reply with a name so i can thank you once again) whilst travelling back to Chris's i got full power back which only lasted for about 5minutes or so, on returning back to Chris's engine seemed to resume back to normal so had a play around there, tied up had sum dinner then had another play but not risking going out to far just in case we started to have engine trouble again, anyway the day was great the weather could have been better but i'm not complaining, it was a good shakedown for the season, thank you all for making the Holland family welcome and hopefully will see you on another trip out (hopefully with out any engine issues) i'm at Trearrdur bay 1st week in june and August as well, will also be at Moelfre life boat day if anyone is meeting up.
Regards.........Shaun.......
p.s. never got that pint of of humber paul ?
