saturday just gone, 1 week on from the run we took jolly todger for a dry off. We left holyhead and nipped to see the seals at the Skerries. then decided to try a pint in the Gazelle on the straits where we met your mum and dad, then decided we might aswell do the rest of the island. it was so calm it only took us 3 hours including the time at the Gazelle. Shame we can't book the weather.

Cheers Kearny to be honest the vid doesn't really tell the full tale when we got back up to Beaumaris slip the rollers made it hard work retrieving. Think menia bridge next time it's ruff

The water was flat between Dinowic,Y Felinheli and Telfords Menai Bridge. After that the closer we got to Beaumaris the worst it became.

Nice vid Brad.
Funny how it seems to get rougher once you get to that yellow cardinal at the Gazelle. reckons he's from Chester as well.

Now I'm well up for that!! Save towing her down next year!

There's a thread on here where a load of ribs went over on a spring and had lunch in boathouse, then back down the dee.

Easily doable and a great challenge!

Will look at tides and plan for that!
