Neil, Would be good if he could come again. I think with the success of last year and the photos/videos that were posted on here and in the magazine mean even more people feel it is worth the effort to turn up.
Provisional sign ups are over 23 now, with a nice array of RIBs so its looking promising!

Certainly room for a 300hp black ribcraft with suspension seating!
So people joining from various pointc an catch us, I'm hoping the Ty Calch launchers will head anti clockwise through the bridges early on, pick up "The Cardinal bouy" from the Gazelle, then get right round to the Caernarfon bar for somewhere near high tide. More exact times nearer to the day. That way we spend the day cruising, not the evening, which I believe will be spent in a Caernarfon bar of the different type!

More the merrier Phil! Nearer the time I'm sure Kerny and Tony T will put some times on leaving Ty Calch and I'll be floating by the Gazelle (no change there) waiting for everyone to come through.

I guess so. Reason being, high tide is late afternoon about 3.20, low 9.35 at Menai. 2.10 and 8.50 Caernarfon. To clear Caernarfon bar is best a few hours either side of high tide. Whereas you can clear the bridges easily a couple of hours either side of low.
So I figure they'll Head off from Ty Calch about 11.00, clear bridges by 11.30 then take about 4-5 hours from there to get back round.
Open to suggestions though from the more experienced as I know there are plenty!

Happy New Year all. This is my first post, and I just wanted to let you know that I am interested in doing the round island. I am based near Port Dinorwic, and been looking to go round the island with a few other boats last year, so hopefully will be able to do this, jus trying to sort out my folks to look after the kids, as I don't think it is totally suitable for a 5 and 8 year old.
I can say for certain though, that we won't be able to do the evening thing.
I'll let you know soon if I'm a definite.
Cheers.
Will

Looks like the Ty Calch Armarda will have to get in the water early, Chris is going to be busy that morning,
Admiral Kern best find out how many will be setting off from there and sort some times out
I see Napoleon still as me bottom of the list does that make his cabin boy
